Healthcare Advisory Manager

We’re looking for someone who is a creative self-starter and risk-taker, excited about growth and thrives in a fast-paced environment!  You should have healthcare industry knowledge, project management capabilities, and management consulting skills.  You will advise clients across the healthcare ecosystem (providers, payors, employers, advocacy, and startups) on strategies and tactics to transform their business operations and model to exceed their strategic, financial, and operational goals.  As a manager, you’ll need to feel comfortable as a leader or a team member contributing to the success of our firm and clients. You have a unique blend of creative and analytical skills, embracing both critical thinking and problem solving on a regular basis.

qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, business management or similar, Master’s preferred (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) OR equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years prior work experience in the healthcare industry, prior management consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare industry trends and market behavior
  • Strong business acumen and complex problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of management frameworks and methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, including the ability to perform at a high-level in a team-based environment
  • Sound knowledge of financial analysis and fluency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellence in project organization/management, including experience in Microsoft Project or equivalent
  • Ability to produce high-quality presentations and deliverables from both a content and aesthetics perspective, including fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Superior time management skills, with a focus on prioritization, while managing up, down and across a team
  • Travel required based on client requests

  • Creating project plans, reporting on status, and managing teams to ensure project execution
  • Meeting with clients to discuss business goals and objectives
  • Conducting market research and studying market trends
  • Analyzing existing company processes and workflows
  • Evaluating the practices and market behavior of industry competitors
  • Creating and presenting analysis/research reports
  • Devising strategies to increase revenue, cut costs, and promote growth
  • Overseeing the implementation of updated business strategies
  • Reviewing and analyzing the efficacy of revised business strategies
  • Monitoring the long-term effects of business changes
  • Build and maintain positive ongoing relationships with clients
  • Support scoping, estimating, proposing and SOW creation for new projects
