Health equity is the equal access to healthcare for all people, regardless of race, socio-economic status or other social determinant. Without health equity, people in certain demographic groups have less access to healthcare, experience greater rates and severity of disease and generally live shorter lives.

Awareness of health disparity is at an all-time high, and experts expect to see public/private collaborations to address health equity on a magnitude we haven’t seen before.
