Eric Gallagher
Chief Executive Officer
ric Gallagher serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Ochsner Health Network (OHN), a clinically integrated physician network and accountable care organization comprised of over 3,500 physicians across the Gulf South region, serving Ochsner Health, its partners, and affiliated community practices.
In this role, Eric is responsible for developing and managing the strategic vision, long-term planning, and direction for OHN as well as leading operations for population health services delivered to OHN and OACN participants.
Eric previously served as Chief Operating Officer of OHN and has been instrumental to the development of Ochsner’s value-based care and population health strategy since 2016, driving OHN’s growth across Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama, to today now managing over 500,000 lives in value based agreements and being recognized nationally as a leader in value-based care.
Prior to joining Ochsner in 2016, Eric held leadership positions in health care strategy, building and advancing value-based competencies and population health infrastructures with local and national healthcare organizations, including roles at Accenture in its Health Management practice and at Tulane University Medical Group.
A New Orleans native, Eric holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business.
